Smart-bins are one technique for putting books back in their original place they store books in them until it’s time to place the books in their places. The Library is open eight hundred, fifty-six hours a week. Book drops are normal to see at a library but seeing the real conveyer belt is better than just putting them on and then leaving.
Supply Lists are used for knowing what they need in the library so that they can know what to get from other libraries in the state and what they have to buy. Disks can also be purchased in the library. Blue ray is coming to the library, too. Books that were requested by customers and that have been supplied are held in the Delivery Rooms, where they are put on shelves according to the first four letters of your last name with your first initial that is also where you can pick up your requested book.
In the computer lab you can type on the computer depending on the time you need on the computer sixty minutes to one hundred, twenty minutes there are seven to eight computers at a table and about twenty tables that’s either one hundred, sixty computers or one hundred, forty computers. They have thousands of books being checked out every week. This was a grand experience where we learned how a library works and functions.
