This past weekend I attended The 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Music Festival at Clement Park. While there, I saw the legendary Eddie Money and The Charlie Daniel's Band. At the festival, there were vendors and a few different stages where other bands performed. It was a really fun time, and all ages can enjoy the festival. There were many young kids but also older people; a very diverse crowd.

After Eddie Money performed, I was standing by a fence near the tour buses with my dad. The drummer of Eddie's band came up to me! My dad and I talked with Glenn Symmonds for a few minutes and took some pictures before heading over to the merchandise tent where Glenn signed a drumstick and his first CD Southern Poets, Trains and Troubadours! Its a great CD by the way! Glenn took some pictures with my family before hurrying to catch up with the others of the band…. he was worried he'd be late. I was so happy that I got to meet Glenn! I found out that he'd been playing with Eddie Money on and off since the beginning of his career. To find out more about Glenn Symmonds, you can visit his website: http://www.glennsymmonds.com/.

Soon after The Charlie Daniel's Band took the stage. He was truly breathtaking! Being able to hear Devil Went Down To Georgia live was spectacular. Everyone was standing in the crowd and dancing along with the lively music. Charlie Daniels played Folsom Prison Blues as a tribute to Johnny Cash; everyone sang along. After the show, the drummer from The Charlie Daniel's Band threw his drumsticks, my mom and dad almost caught one but another person ended up getting it and my cousin wrestled with two people to get the other!

The Rocky Mountain Music Festival was an awesome experience and I hope I can go again. I think people of all ages will enjoy it. Hopefully you might get to go one year! If you want some more info on it, you can just Google The Rocky Mountain Music Festival and click onto their website.
