"How to Act Like a Kid" by Henry Hodges and Margaret Engle, is a story about a young boy's dream of becoming a broadway performer. Henry Hodges is that boy. Although he had dyslexia, that didn't stop him from fulfilling his dream. Henry acts in all kinds of different theatre such as opera, regional theatre, and even voicing in animated films. In this book, Henry gives his story of becoming a performer. In my opinion, he does not really tell kids much about the "how to" part. Henry is a successful actor having acted in broadway such as Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. I don't recommend this book to those that are not interested in acting. If you were expecting a "how to" there won't be any. I did not find this book interesting but others may. I would recommend this book to ages 9 and up due to some difficult language that I could not understand.
