Hello everybody! As you may have noticed, the theme of my blog has changed a bit. Don't worry, it won't stay like this forever, but during the playoffs, you're going to get a LOT about baseball and the Rockies. I was never this big of a baseball fan until this. My sister drew a flaming baseball with the Colorado Rockies logo on my arm in permanent marker. It looks pretty cool. Keep me posted on how you like the new theme versus the old one, and also comment to tell me who I should spotlight next. I'm thinking of spotlighting Corpas, Holliday, and Helton next. Who do you think I should spotlight next? Just leave a comment with his name on this blog entry. I'll check it when I can to see who I should spotlight next. GO ROCKIES!
Now, more about game two. It seems like the D-backs ran out of venom again. It took extra innings that went past midnight to finally declare a winner, but Ryan Spilborghs (Anyone want me to spotlight him?) scored the winning run in the top of the 11th. I would've seen it, except for the fact that I had to go to bed. I didn't actually start watching the game until two hours in, and by then the score was 2-1 Rockies. In the 8th or 9th inning, the D-backs scored a run, making the game go in to the 10th inning. The 10th inning was fairly slow and boring, considering neither team scored. In the top of the 11th, Ryan Spilborghs' home run caused the Rockies to win 3-2. Guess the D-backs got stamped on again.
