Hey, my name is Emma and this is my blog. I love lacrosse and baseball. I love those spoof motivational posters. I'm in seventh grade. I'm bad at prank calling people. I like to sing and I love Broadway. During Spring Break my cousin and I watched these ninja competitions in Japanese but they had subtitles so it was okay. I like food. For the longest time, I was convinced that our pitcher's last name was spelled Torre abla, but I eventually learned how to spell it the right way. I did a little project on some of the Spanish-speaking Rockies for my Spanish class and he was one of them. I've really been dropping the ball (no pun intended) when it came to Rockies Player Spotlights. I haven't done a lot of big names like Helton or Holliday yet, but I might pretty soon. I'll be spotlighting Helton next, so if you want somebody to be spotlighted just leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do.

I recently came across a sports blog about Torrealba had no arm and no bat. Now, I have to say I'm smiling silently, since Torrealba recently made a two run homer against the Atlanta Braves. So much for "no arm, no bat" Torrealba.

Now, more about my fave catcher.

Do you know how his parents came up with Yorvit? I didn't either, but it actually turns out that they couldn't decide between Victor (Pronounced Veek-tor) and Yorman. Cool, huh?

Though he was a free agent last year, we were really lucky to resign him in November 2007. At least, I'm glad we did.

love your blog...he's my favorite catcher too, especially because he made that grand slam against the phillies to advance in the playoffs for the world series!
