Changing Hair Color in GIMP

Okay. Sorry this took me so long to get posted. I've been pretty busy. This tutorial will show you how to change the hair color in a photo subtlety (which is what I show you) or drastically (which I will also explain). This one is super easy and really quick, so let's get started.

1.Import your picture
2.Create a new layer
3.Select the "Free Select" tool or "Lasso" tool (they are the same thing with different names)
4.Outline all of the hair (this is the hard part)
5. When you are done selecting the hair, go to Selection->Feather
6.Select a feather of 1 or 2 (depends on your selection and picture)
7.Go to Colors-> Color Balance
8.There are now three options, Midtones, Shadows, and Highlights
9.Just mess around with these options until you get the color you want.
10.Export

Simple as that.
