Hey bloggers! It's Summer! The fact has yet to soak in I feel like this is just another Saturday and I'll be back at school in a few days. My last day of school was good- I'm a fifth grader and it was bittersweet cuz I had to say bye to some people I will most likely never see again. I just cried and cheered and hugged everybody.
But enough of the sadness! Cuz its Summer! I'M SO EXCITED!!! I want to catch up with some old friends and work on my writing. I'm also going to New York, Aspen, and sleepaway camp. I'm in
Peter Pan and I'm doing a potters wheel workshop.
But I don't want to bore you with my plans. I just wanted to offer some quick advice-
To all those people who haven't graduated from 5th grade yet, please take time and hang out with every single one of your classmates. Get everyone to sign your yearbook. Collect all the memories you can. Please.
I'm worried about keeping in touch with my friends- I can just call them up and ask them to sleepover but I can't do that with my friends who are guys. I guess I'll just text them...
So, I have two questions for you guys- What are
your plans for the Summer? And... how do you plan to keep in touch with friends.
Last night I was looking through my desk and I found a list I made when I was 8. It contained things I wanted to do before I died. I'm going to try do most of those things this Summer. If your bored you can make a list of stuff you want to do and then try to do the realistic ones. If you have ones that you can't really do, just do smaller versions. So now I leave you with these Summer thoughts.
Keep the randomness flowing,
L
