Q's and A's for MapleStory
Contributed by: James Kim   on 5/14/2009

I'm really sorry that I didn't post the MapleStory blogs for a while. I was extremely busy with homework. Okay, so here are someQ andA's to guide through the basics of MapleStory.

Q: Do you have to download MapleStory to play it?

A: Yes and you also need to create an account.

Q: Where do I go to download MapleStory?

A: You go to the official MapleStory website(MapleStory.com)and on the right, you'll see different countries such as Korea, Singapore, etc. Find North America (Global) and click it. After you're on the North American MapleStory website, go to the right and you'll see this big button that says "MapleStory Download" click it and then when you're on that page, click full patch. There you go!!! The download may take quite a while so you can watch some TV while you're waiting.

Q: How do I make an account?

A: Like most other account games, you click sign up.

Q: I forgot my password for MapleStory. How do I get it back?

A: You click the "forgot my password" link and you go to your email. (you have to type in when you're making an account.) Then you log on to your email, and go to the inbox or junk section and they give you your password.

Q: Is there just one huge, crowded world in MapleStory?

A: No. There are about 8 differentworlds in GMS (Global Maple Story)

Q: Can you switch worlds in MapleStory?

A: Yes you can, but moving to a new world costs real money.

Q: So does MapleStory have some kind of time cards so you can keep playing?

A: No. MapleStory is COMPLETELY free. So you can do what everyone else can do.

Q: Is there a big problem on MapleStory?

A: Unfortunately, yes. And it isn't the game, it's some of the players who play MapleStory. One word: Hackers. The GMs (Game Makers) are trying their best to ban those certain people.

Q: Do GMs play MapleStory?

A: Yes they do. But maplers hardly see them because GMs can go invsible or just go at top speed to you can't see them on you're screen.

Q: How do I move in MapleStory?

A: The arrow keys.

Q:How do I jump?

A: The Alt button.

Q: How do I attack?

A: The Ctrl Button

Q: Is there only one type of class for a theif, archer, warrior, pirate, and magician?

A: No. For the theif there are 2 classes. An assassin and a Bandit. For the Archer there is a Bowman and a Crossbowman. For the warrior, there is a Page, Spearman, and a Fighter. For the Pirate, there is a Brawler and a Gunslinger. For the Magician, there is a Cleric, an Ice/Lightning Magician, and a Fire/Poison Magician. But you start out as a theif, warrior, pirate, archer, or magician but when you're level 30, you'rethe secound job whichI listed.

Q: So, do I get to pick a class as soon as I make a character?

A: No. You start out as a beginner on Maple Island. When you're lvl. 10 you get your 1st job. But for a magician, you have to be lvl 8.

Q: Which world are you in James?

A: I'm in Yellonde and I'm level 79.
