The Democratic National Convention depends on delegates. Delegates are how the presidential candidate is chosen. One of the delegates, Cary Kennedy, said that "On the floor it was exciting and exhilarating. There was so much enthusiasm with in the delegates". Cary Kennedy is also the state treasurer.

All of the delegates sit with the other delegates from their states on the floor of the convention. "I have had a lot of interaction with delegates from other states. It is such a great experience meeting different people" Kennedy said.

"Denver is a great place to be, and all the delegates are getting a chance to see Colorado". Kennedy explained. While delegates are here, there are many ways for them to get to know wonderful Colorado. Delegates have been enjoying the 16th street mall, and great views of the mountains.
