EWG Uncovers Babies At Risk
According to a report from the Campaignfor Safe Cosmetic Use, baby and child care products are hiding a secret ingredient that may have your baby at risk. Apparently, these products have the hazardous Formaldehyde, and 1.4 Dioxane which have been accused of cancer and skin conditions amongst babies and small children or toddlers.
Proven by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) these ingredients are causing more than half of shampoo and bubble bath products along with other common products to contain these dangerous chemicals. But they have not been listed on the ingredients label.
2 countries have actually banned formaldehyde.
So what can you do? You can join the campaign for safe cosmetics at cosmeticdatabase.com.And most importantly tell your friends and family. Especially if they have babies or small children. Help make the world aware!
