Bones of Faerie is a breathtaking saga about a girl named Liza and her journey to healing two worlds. In a time called Before, Earth was just as it is today, but no one knew the faeries existed, that is until the War. The War shattered both realms, in the mortal realm the War brought death and forced the human kind to go back to the ways of living when the world was young. In the faerie realm, the War brought fatal fumes that killed most of the faeries that didn't have the common sense to flee after the War was over. A small number of faeries survived, but Liza's town would never be the same. Trees that once minded themselves began to thirst for human flesh and blood, but the most lethal object is now magic. Liza's father was never the same after the War; he had no tolerance for magic, so when Liza's sister was born with faerie hair, clear as gossamer, she was sent on a hillside to die, unless the faeries took her in. They never came, but Liza went out after her and saw that a wild animal had. The problem is that the magic from Rebecca's torn body leaked on to Liza. So now Liza must face the consequences of magic and discover that not always what you decide is the right choice because the healer can't decide alone.
