The must-see Disney film of the year has finally been released on DVD! All of your favorite characters are back for their final year as East High Wildcats. The crew has a big basketball championship, prom and, of course, the spring musical to accomplish before their big graduation and bigger decision of where and when to attend college.

The stars of the film, Troy and Gabriella, are once again at a crossroads. They aren't sure what will happen to their relationship after high school. Gabriella doesn't want to leave Troy for her early Stanford acceptance and Troy isn't sure whether to pursue his long-planned dream of basketball or his new-found love of theatre. Will the two love birds stay together? Can they make up their minds on these crucial decisions?

My favorite parts of the film were all the songs and dance. I loved watching the stars progress from "We're All in This Together" in HSM 1 to "Night of Nights" in this movie. All the dance scenes were beautifully choreographed by director Kenny Ortega.

My only dislike of the film was the new crew of "sophomores." Troy, Chad, and Sharpay all had a "mini-me" following them around for the film. I found them annoying because they tried to hard to fit in with their role-model's groups.

All the characters had great chemistry. After making three movies together, it seems like they really have become a graduating class. The cast goodbyes bonus feature showed that it was a very emotional experience for all the actors.

I would recommend this DVD to all High School Musical fans. I think that most kids 12 (6 th grade) and under would enjoy this film because most of the older kids have simply out-grown the trilogy. If you liked HSM 3, make sure you watch the other two movies. You might also enjoy Grease (because it is also a musical) , or 17 Again (because its stars Zac Efron),

One of my favorite bonus features was the Sing Along Feature. This feature allows you to watch the full movie, but whenever a song comes on the screen, words scroll along the bottom karaoke style. This is great when watching with a group of friends because you can all easily sing along to your favorite tunes.

I also liked the "It's All in the Dress" segment. This feature showed the work behind the prom costumes in the movie. The costume designer showed some of her original designs and the stars shared their feelings on prom and their costumes.

My other favorite bonus was the Disneyfile digital copy of the extended movie. This is a copy of the entire movie compatible with your iPod or MP3. Now I can watch my favorite scenes on my laptop or on the go!

With more music and even better dance numbers, make sure you don't miss High School Musical Three: Senior Year.
