When the lights go off, the battle is on!
Contributed by: Caroline Till on 5/26/2009

Imagine being the nightguard at a New York City museum where everything comes to life! You have probably seen the the hilarious family film, Night at the Museum, but this time, Larry Daley is on a whole new mission!

When the Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations, the exhibits are moved into federal storage at the famous Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C.

After the museum pieces are moved into storage, Larry receives a call from Jed, one of the pieces in an exhibit, who says they are having major trouble! Dexter, a little monkey, brought the tablet, which was supposed to stay behind, that brings the museum to life! Kumunrah, an Egytian pharoah, believes that since he has "come back to life," it is time for him to rule the world! I don't want to spoil the rest of the plot for you, so you will just have to find out what happens for yourself!

My favorite character in this movie will have to be Kumunrah. He is hilarious and his voice cracks you up! I also loved the little cupid statues who were flying around Larry Daley and Amelia Earhart singing love songs! Jed is also one of my all-time favorites. Even though he is a puny wax figure, Jed believes he is just like everyone else. Which is big, tall, and scary! He demonstrates this by using his attitude and how he handles situations.

My favorite part in this film is at the beginning when Larry is having a fight with Brandon, a security guard at the Smithsonian Museums. Brandon is yelling at Larry for touching a museum peice, and one thing leads to another until they end up in a fist fight! This was actulally Larry's plan, so while fighting, he could steal Brandon's access key!

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is an awesome movie. It keeps you a hundred percent entertained the entire time! This movie is packed with lots of action, comedy, and even a little romance!

I would recomend this film to just about everyone! It's a good family movie and appropriate for most ages, but i must warn you that there is violence and bad language. I would rate it using five stars or two thumbs up so hurry and but your tickets to Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian!
