Restaurants to Satistify ALL of Your Cravings!
Contributed by: Bailey Cross on 9/28/2007

Are you ALWAYS craving something new? Well I have 6 restaurants to satisfy all of your cravings!

MexicanCasa Alvarez
If you want some good Mexican food, go to Casa Alvarez. The kind people here will make you feel welcome and the festive surroundings get you in the mood to eat if the wonderful aroma hasn't already. Here, I suggest starting out with a Horchata,a refreshing nondairy cinnamon drink. For appetizers, chips and spicy salsa (or mild salsa upon request!) come free. If you are adventurous, I recommend ordering a Casa Sampler Platter with homemade cheesy quesadillas, flautas, taquitos, poppers, guacamole, and chips. For the grand main course, I would choose the Enchiladas Verde, or the Enchiladas Torte. Now, for desert, you can go the warm way and order Sopapilla Delight or go the cold way and order Fried Ice Cream. Both in my opinion are splendid! To view the menu, or to get more information, click here. There are two locations in Colorado-

Boulder-
161 Walnut St.

Boulder, CO80301
(303) 546-0630

Lafayette-
502 South Public Rd.
Lafayette, CO 80026
(303) 604-4396

ChinesePearl Wok

Pearl Wok is a wonderful place to get together with friends. The amazing décor inside makes you feel like you might very well be in china, but rest assure, everyone here speaks English. This small restaurant is favored by many presidents, and is very inexpensive. Stop by, and you can see many pictures of the owners with presidents, famous actors, and famous actresses. I always start the meal out with a nice hot pot of real green tea. You don't really know what real green tea is until you try it here. Next, I order the Crab-Cream Cheese Wantons. They sound nasty, but really they are scrumptious! For the main course, I recommend going for the Chicken Lo-Main with a side of Egg Drop Soup. Here, you will surely to be satisfied!

Broomfield-

5027 W 120th Ave
Broomfield, CO80020
(303) 465-3755

Chicken Wings CD's Wings

CD's Wings is all about Chicken Wings! They were voted "Best Wings of Denver/ Westward"! You will NOT find better Buffalo Wings ANYWHERE in Colorado! You can call them and see what specials they have that night because you can get great deals. My family gets wings every Wednesday with Mild sauce, Hot sauce, and X-hot sauce on the side. CD's wings also offers a wide variety of sides including Rocky Mountain Oysters (not my personal favorite!), fresh baked potato chips, even Fried Catfish! For more information, click here.

Westminster-

7729 West 92 nd Avenue

Westminster, CO80021

303-467-7700

Seafood Joe's Crab Shack

Joe's Crab Shack is an AWESOME place to go for birthdays! This is a fun place through and through. Any thing on the menu is awesome! After visiting here, you will definitely know what I mean! They have multiple locations in Colorado, so click here to find your location.

Spaghetti The Blue Parrot

The Blue Parrot has the spaghetti sauce in ALL of Colorado! This restaurant has been family owned and operated since 1919 when it first opened. I start the meal out with some freshly brewed ice tea, followed by some homemade garlic bread. For the main course, I of course order spaghetti with extra sauce. You can get it to go in big tubs, and even buy their sauce at Safeway or in cases of 20 at the restaurant.

Louisville-

640 Main St
Louisville, CO80027-1828
Phone: (303) 666-0677

Italian Café Gondolier

Café Gondolier is a MUST! From appetizers to deserts, EVERYTHING is AMAZING! I start the meal out with a Italian Cream Soda and Calamari on the side. For the wonderfully filling main course, I order a ½ plate of their homemade thick Spaghetti and ½ plate of their cheesy Ravioli. For a grand finally, I order their Tiramisu, the BEST coffee desert.

Boulder-

1738 Pearl St
Boulder, CO80302
Phone: (303) 443-5015

I hope you get a chance to try any and all of these fabulous restaurants!
