Collide with The Kaleidoscope Exhibit
Contributed by: Zoe Dinneen on 7/27/2007

ARTS ALLIANCE OF LITTLETON KALEIDOSCOPE EXHIBITION
*** out of five*

With a wide varity of different genres and styles the Kaleidoscope exhibit's vivid colors grabs your heart and your head. Even though the architechture of the gallery was poor, needed repair, and a paint job the artwork made up for that. As told by Rebecca Zimmerman the gallery gave a calming feeling and she was entranced by each painting.
The highlights of the gallery were Transcendent Migration: Memory by Katrina Boldry. This well displayed photo-based mix media art. You almost could smell the ocean as you were absorbed into it. Going Home by Katrina Boldry is another mix media piece that gives you a protective feeling yet a desserted one. Unusual Things by Francesca Owens is a charcoal picture that sends chills up your spine as it captures you and leaves you in the darkness. The exhibit is open until August 17th and is open Mon.- Fri. 12- 5pm and Tues. 5-7pm.
