The Exhibit Hall of the ISTE Conference has hundreds of exhibits each with something they think is perfect for the American classroom. Everywhere you look you see 3D, smart boards, software, and computers. One big hit was Aldebarans robot. This robot talked to you and even danced. One employee said "It's like a laptop with personality"." It can even teach.A cool add on to your browser would be YoLink. This add on searches through links to find the best information to match your keyword. It can even work within a link. YoLink also shows you the source and can write your citations for you. Anne Kimbrel, an employee, said "I wish I had this when I was a kid."Learning about the human body is much more fun when you can do it 3D style. That's what Sanyo's projector lets you do. Their projector is great with the science curriculum and can project normal and 3D.Some other cool technology was the tablet PC and TeamBoard. The tablet PC is a laptop with touch. When you fold the tablet PC the top is also a screen. It is not meant to compete with the ipad because it does not run apps. Many teachers know that at one point some kid is going to use sharpie on the dry erase board. This is not a problem with TeamBoard because you can erase anything from it including spray paint and sharpie. Also, if it doesn't erase there is a ten year warranty where you can get a new one. From dancing robots to touch laptops the ISTE Confrence had the newest technology.
