Ever Feeling Bored? Are you ever feeling bored this summer? Well next time your bored go to the Museum of Nature and Science. I went on a boring day and interviewed Kotomi Yoshida who works at the members' services desk. I asked how long the museum has been open. She told me "about 102 years." She told me the oldest exhibits are the dioramas. There are lots of fun programs for kids too. Here are a few of them: One World, One Sky, summer camp, the Discovery Zone, and Museum Seek and Find. One World, One Sky is for young children that like Elmo. In the short film Elmo goes to the moon. Summer camps are for kids' 1st - 6th grade with lots of fun activities. The Discovery Zone is fun for kids and adults. You can learn and have fun. In the Museum Seek and Find, you try to find several hidden gnomes through out the whole museum. It is fun for all ages. Make sure you ask for a map at the information desk first, and then start your gnome hunt. I asked Kotomi if there are any new exhibits coming soon. She said "there is an interactive dinosaur exhibit coming in September." It is called T-Rex Encounter. There is also a new movie called Dinosaurs Alive in the IMAX theater.
