Engineering Marvel, Cowboy Stadium in Dallas, Texas has been raking in fans and money since it was opened. The Dallas Cowboys football team owner Jerry Jones spent 1.4 billion dollars building the new stadium in Dallas. With a t.v. that weighs over 1,000,000 pounds, 1,600 toilets and the record for the most t.v.s in a sporting venue at 2,800 Cowboy stadium is no small feet. Jerry Jones had steel imported from Luxingberg to build arches that are two times bigger than the St. Louis arch. It is the largest dome structure in the world with a retractable roof that takes nine minutes to open and twelve and a half to close. Cowboy stadium is the second largest sporting venue in the country.
Of the 1,600 toilets in the stadium sixty percent of them are for women, but they are interchangeable. When Cowboy Stadium hosted a Jonas Brothers Concert almost all of the bathrooms were changed for the women. People can enter the stadium for $29 if they purchase a party pass. When you receive your pass it will tell you whether you are in the east or west end zone and that is where you have to stay. You cannot cross to the other side. Unfortunately you can't get into the super bowl for 29 dollars. Overall Cowboy Stadium has brought new meaning to the words 'OMG this place rocks!'
