Operation Christmas Child is something my family does yearly. Operation Christmas Child is something my family does yearly. It makes so many needy children extremely happy. That is why I am telling you how to do it. The program runs from November 15-22.
What you do is get an empty shoebox and put items in it. You can put in toys such as stuffed animals, jump ropes and small cars. Put in school supplies. You may put in a toothbrush, mild soap bar, toothpaste and a comb in a plastic bag. Also you might put in mints, lollipops or gum in a plastic bag. You can include a note to the child with your name and address so they can write back. After that, you go to www.samaritanspurse.org to print out boy and girl labels. Make sure to check off the correct age category. Finally, when you have packed your box, put a rubber band around your box and tape on the boy or girl label. For local drop off locations visit www.samaritanspurse.org.
It will really help children.Last year over eight million children received shoe boxes. Since 1993 over 130 countries received shoe boxes. Their mission is to spread love to needy children.
