Weedflower the Tale of a Japanese Girl

From the Newberry Award-winning author Cynthia Kadohata comes a new book entitled Weedflower. Weedflower is a book that takes place during World War II. Sumiko is a young Japanese girl who is greatly affected by the war.The main characters are Sumiko, her brother Tak-Tak, Sumiko's grandpa Jiichan, Auntie, Uncle, Sumiko's Cousin Bull, Ichiro Sumiko's cousin, Mr. Moto, Frank, and Sanchi. When Sumiko was very little her parents died in a car crash. She went to live with Jiichan and his family. Sumiko lived on a flower farm. Her favorite flower was called weedflower. Her family was not worried about war because they thought that the Japanese wouldn't do anything to the U.S. However, one day the Japanese bombed Hawaii and everything changed. Soldiers came and took anyone that had been born in Japan to jail. A few days later all the Japanese had to go to permanent camps. Sumiko and her family were sent to Poston, Arizona which was the hottest place they had ever been to. They even had to wait for a dust storm to clear before they could get to their camp.Weedflower is a wonderful story. I would recommend it to anyone. Cynthia Kadohata is a wonderful author, and I can't wait to read her other books. So go read Weedflower, go do it now. Yeah right like I'm going to give you the ending. You have to read the book so go!

I would recommend checking your grammar, because you make a few grammatical mistakes throughout the piece.
