Have you ever met a kid who is COMPLETELY obsessed with something? Well, Dave Johnson was that kid. In fact, he loved animals so much- even from his first memory - that when he was about five years old, he pretended to be an ostrich for three whole days. He pecked things and strutted around like an ostrich 24/7 for three days!
Imagine yourself dancing on top of cars in the middle of a road. You just surprised everyone with a flash mob in an unexpected place. You are a member of The Mob, a group of about 20 people entered in a YouTube contest to get 10 million hits. As your song comes to an end, many people are cheering. On a window, sprayed on with paint, the words THE MOB appear.
Many people have been evacuated due to fires around the state. Some have lost their homes in these flames, luckier ones have not. Many people who have not lost their homes have been affected in other unfortunate ways. Affected in a minor way are girls all over the state.
To earn their Girl Scout Bronze Award, Junior Girl Scouts must complete a book called a Girl Scout Junior Journey as one of the seven steps. At the end of "Agent of Change," one of the three books available, they are required to do a service project in their community. Junior Troop #3378 is at this step of the book.
