  •           Adam Sidwell is more than just an author; he created models for monsters in movies such as “Tron” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” He studied Computer Science and Animation and has participated in the making of many Hollywood movies.

Peter Nelson and Rohitash Rao successfully managed to create an exciting adventure in which two children, Abigail, who is 14, and Jordan, who is 12, find out about some family secrets.

  •           Being kind is an appreciated gesture. When Rotten Ralph from Jack Gantos and Nicole Rubel’s story “Rotten Ralph’s Rotten Family”, wonders why he is the rotten cat he is and has been his whole life, he visits his family to find out. 

  •           If you have ever wanted to know about the legend of Hiawatha and Tekanawita, “Peace Walker” by C.J. Taylor might interest you. It is a story about when the five Iroquois nations were under the control of Chief Atotarho.

  •           A story about a place full of walking, talking cows isn’t one you read every day. “Lost in Bermooda” by Mike Litwin is a book about when a human is stuck on an island full of human-like cows, monkeys, birds, and other animals.

  •           Even books can be an adventure! Luckily, they don’t involve the risk. “Horses of the Dawn: The Escape” (written by Kathryn Lasky) is one of those books.
