I, along with my group got to go explore the media room on Metropolitan State’s campus.
The room is where students film weekly news segments. Those watching get to only see the cast that reports our weather and news but behind the scenes is unseen to the viewer’s eyes.
We got to see the operation of the camera’s and lighting and even try out effects to add a little pizzazz and excitement to a bland setting. Also, the chairman of journalism and technology, Bob Amend spoke to us about how different pieces of the tech works to create a show or movie.
Along the end we met Matthew Keller, who is the director of that studio, who explained the equipment in more detail including the audio room used for recording
