Instead of going shopping on Black Friday after next year’s thanksgiving consider this, The Candlelight Walk. The Candlelight Walk is an annual event held on Mainstreet in Downtown Littleton. As of the last Candlelight Walk held on November 25, 2016 the event has been going on for 33 years. Main street is closed to cars at 4, and you can park for free at a few places like Arapahoe Community College. The family friendly events start at 5:30, with all sorts of events such as choirs, and free hot chocolate. At 6:30, Santa and a few more floats come down Main Street. While Santa comes down the street all of the trees light up. It is a great experience, and I went for the first time this year, and will go for years to come.
