After winning eight gold medals, Michael Phelps had a lot of work to do. I know, it sounds weird, after you've done all that work you should just rest. Oh, not in this day and age. Phelps had 1000+ Facebook friend requests to respond to.
Today, Phelps has a fan page and instead of having friend requests, he has an automatic confirmer when someone requests to be a fan. So far, he has 1,379,376 fans. That's more fans than any other celebrity, including Jessica Alba and Jack Black.
But Phelps isn't the only one. Relay mate Cullen Jones has a fan page with 2,068 fans. Beach volleyball gold medalists Misty May and Kerri Walsh have one that they share with 19, 511 fans.
The only sketchy thing about these pages are you don't know if it's really them or somebody pretending to be them. The ones I mentioned are definitely the real thing, but there have been some Hannah Montana impersonators out there!
