"Avatar The Last Air Bender, The Complete Book 1 Collection" is about Aang.
"Avatar The Last Air Bender, The Complete Book 1 Collection" is about Aang. Aang is the Avatar master of all four elements and he has been frozen in an iceberg for 100 years. Katara and Sokka find Aang near their home, the South Pole. While Aang has been frozen the Fire Nation has tried to take over the world. In doing this the Fire Nation killed every air bender, but Aang. Aang, Katara, and Sokka set off to the North Pole so Aang and Katara can learn water bending. Along the way Prince Zoko is trying to capture Aang. Aang and his friends meet new people along the way. Will they make it to the North Pole?
I didn't like how some chapters were totally pointless. Like Chapter 5 "The King of Omashu" and Chapter 13 "The Blue Spirit." Those chapters weren't very interesting.
The characters are Aang the Avatar, Katara the water bender, Sokka the warrior, Appa the flying bison, and Momo the lemur. The plot is Aang needs to learn water, earth, fire, and air bending. Aang needs to stop the Fire nation from taking over the world. The voices really express the characters. The story is great, it's easy to get into.
The special features are amazing. The features on disc 2, "The Making of Avatar- From Real Life to Animation" is so fun to watch. You get to meet the people who bring the show to life. Another thing that was good was "Behind the Scenes with Avatar Cast and Crew." You got to meet the co-creators and the Martial Art instructor of Avatar. I's cool.
I would defiantly recommend "Avatar The Last Air Bender The Complete Book 1 Collection." It's a great story line. Kids in Kindergarten through 6 th grade would enjoy it.
