Parents won't let you have a dog even though you really want one? Well, the answer is here if you own a Nintendo DS or a Nintendo Advance SP. The game you should get is Dogz. There are many similarities and differences between the two games on the different systems. In both games you get to pick your character, and pick a dog for your character, and bring the dog home. You must name your dog and teach its name to him or her, and of course this in on both games. Also in both games you have to feed and clean your dog.

Not enough for you? You can play with your dog, and take it for a walk. In the DS game, you have toys for your dog, but not for you. Although in the SP game, it's vise-versa. There are toys for you to play with, but none for your puppy. In both games the time doesn't turn out how you think it would. It goes by Army time.

You have to take care of your puppy for 30 days, and after those 30 days, something special will happen. You get to train your puppy how to sit, lie down, go to bed, and go to the "bathroom" in the right place. If you are not around your puppy it will become stressed out and get sick. So you must play and brush your puppy often. Since your character has to go to school, it's a good idea to play with your puppy a lot when you get home from school so it doesn't feel left out. When you feed your puppy, you can tell it to stay before you say its okay for your dog to eat it, and if he or she eats it before you say its okay, you can "scold" your puppy, but if he does indeed stay, you can "praise" the pup. It might be a while before you can take your dog on a walk. This is because you have to wait almost a whole week before you can take the pup on a walk, because you have to get its shots, because you don't was your little puppy getting sick. There's a TV you can watch, and a computer that you can use to help find information on how to take care of your puppy. If you find your characters parents around the house, you can talk to them. They usually give you advice on how to take care of your puppy. If your puppy is on the other side of the house, and you are being lazy, you can call your puppy over to you. After a few days, your parents will give you a camera that you can take pictures of you and your puppy, so that you can share the memories with your friends.

Carly Harold of Colorado Springs has this game, and I got the chance to interview her. Carly really likes this game, she says, "I really like how you can take care of your dog." Carly and I both recommend this game to people ages 7 and up. Carly is not the only one who likes this game, many others do too, you will probably also like this game if you play it.
