Turtle time is alive and well with this karate kicking ninja's tale. The animated effects of this flick were top notch. It's not like most animation available today. The turtles had an almost human like quality. I caught myself a few times forgetting that this was actually an animated picture!

The Movie begins three thousand years ago when a great leader of the Brotherhood of Evil wants to gain immortality. Every three thousand years it is believed that certain stars in a far off galaxy align and open a new dimension of infinite power. The warrior gains immortality but at a price… his brotherhood was turned to stone and thirteen monsters have been released into the world. This is where our action starts, three thousand years later in present day New York. The Great Leader of the past wants to reverse the curse of immortality. The challenge he faces is to capture the thirteen monsters and place them in the vortex that was the portal to this ancient dimension. In present day earth we find the teenage mutant ninja turtles, Donatello, Michelangelo, Rafael, and Leonardo. These brothers are at odds because Leonardo has left the gang to head to Central America in the hopes of becoming a better leader. The TMNT's would not be able to resume their vigilantism and protect New York until they learn to work as a team. Will these turtle brothers band together? Will they learn to work as a team? You'll have to see this awesome movie and find out for your self.

This movie is full of great action, drama and has a great message of team work for kids of all ages. Tons of punch lines, jokes and funny humor are sprinkled throughout this flick. This is a great weekend to grab your family, head to the theatre with a big bag of popcorn and see the new TMNT. It opens march 23rd at a theatre near you and is rated PG
