"Ratatouille" deserves two thumbs up. This movie made me starving for elegant cuisine.
"Ratatouille" deserves two thumbs up. This movie made me starving for elegant cuisine. It made me take a sip of my coke and think "What am I eating?"This movie is the story of a rat named Remy. While other rats feast on garbage Remy craves a taste of well…. something other then garbage. One day while stealing food from an old lady with his brother Emile Remy is seen. Remy and all the other rats are forced to escape. In the scuffle Remy grabs a cookbook called "Anyone can cook" by his favorite chef Gusteau. While the other rats make ships and set sail Remy is lugging his precious cookbook to the boats. Unfortunately he is not fast enough. Eventually he meets a chef (Well really a garbage boy.) and teaches him how to cook.
You will have to see the movie to find out what happens next. You may want to make a reservation at a fancy restaurant for after the movie because you will want it! (I sure wish I did!) Anyway, this movie is charming and funny and I recommend to all ages.
Quick Note- This movie has excellent animation (see picture above) and even won an Oscar for it!
