When I walked into the Kalidescope Art Gallery I immediately started looking for abstract art. I love abstract art because it can be absolutely anything. One of the best paintings I saw was ”Balance” by Jane Denison. It had a large green shape like a rhombus with what looked like telephone poles sticking out. It was awesome! Another painting I enjoyed was ”Water Falls as the Sun Rises on Pinkland- It’s Going to be A Rainy Day in Pinkland” by Dustin Ellingbee. My last piece of art is a sculpture by Andrew Trunfio called ”Form Study 1” It is interesting. Part of it looks like a Wisconsin Cheesehead. It just goes to show that abstract art can be anything. I loved the art gallery and I give it 4 out of 5 smiley faces. To see these and many more, go to Arapahoe Community College. The gallery’s hours are from 12am to 5pm M-F and 12am to 7pm Wednesdays. Catch it before Aug. 17 or It’s gone.
