Kaleidoscope The Young Reporters went to an art gallery by the name of Colorado Gallery of the Arts. The exhibit they saw was by the name Kaleidoscope were there were art peaces such as “Dancing Flowers,” “River of Dreams,” “Rose Hips in winter” And some others. The Young Reporters met a of the photographer by the name of Mia Woody. Mia Woody got started on photography when she was 8 years old. Her older brother had a Brownie camera and Mia wanted to bee just as good as her brother had gotten. Mia has been doing photography for 48 years, but has only been doing photography for a year professionally. She has 3 cameras that she currently using. Mia’s favorite kind of art is water colors. Mia’s most precious picture is of one of her daughter under water with her uncles and is smiling. Mia is now working on a wonderful job and you can see some of her work at Arapaho Community Collage in the Kaleidoscope exhibit, but hurry in because the exhibit only lasts until August 17th 2007, then it is gone.
