Journalism DayWe were ready for today, ready to learn the skills to be a journalist. Our group started out the day listening to John Temple, the head of Rocky Mountain news paper company. He taught us about the complications of writing a news paper. After that we had an interesting conversation with Jan Mcdonald. She is a serial stories writer. One of our assignments was to take pictures of classes in the middle of the day. Some of the teachers that we would like to recognize are Fran Sajsa, He is a 6’th grade middle school teacher. When we were at his classroom visiting him, he was teaching the class writing projects that would work if taught to kids and Jan Mcdonald who was telling new strategies that engage children more. Ending our day we are now satisfied with what we’ve learned about journalism. We are proud to say we could make great journalists one day.
