Arvada, Colorado, The playground at the Arvada Center is for all types of kids including handicapped. The playground includes a sand box, the most popular Dragon named Squiggles, and much more. Squiggles has won a Starburst award and many, many more. Also to mention Squiggles shoots a mist of water for five minutes every hour. It took one year of planning and one year to build. Hillary Olson said, “People even come down from Evergreen to play on the playground.” Squiggles is 343 feet long. Squiggles was built and designed by Bill Gian and Mickey McVey. I had a chat with Zoe Lambert (a kid playing on Squiggles) she thinks Squiggles is “neat and tons of climbing space.” The playground has stuff for kids 12 and under. “The outdoor art is just like a playground for adults” said Hillary Olson an arts day coordinator at the Arvada Center. The out art is great for kids and adults of all ages. They have statues, sand benches, birdbaths, and much, much more. If you are looking for somewhere for adults and kids the Arvada Center is a place to go
