If there was a prize for the silliest dog, it would go to my very cute, unique puppy, Lexy. Lexy is a bouvier des flandres/labrador mix. I hadn’t even heard of a bouvier (pronounced boo-ve-a) until I got her. My nickname for that mixed breed is bouvab. My puppy has many many silly antics ranging from “wrestling” with the cat to jumping on the trampoline. Yes, you did read right, she jumps on the trampoline. As soon as she sees me jumping, she jumps up there and starts bouncing with me. Like I said, she’s a strange dog.She also loves to “wrestle” with my cat, Sammy. Lexy lightly nudges him and, Sammy lightly taps her snout with his paws. Then, they run all over the house. They’re not doing this because they are sworn enemies, and they won’t rest until they get revenge. No, they really do love each other because after they’re done “wrestling”, they start giving each other kisses. Lexy also loves to go on the roof of her dog house. Whenever we have to put her outside in her kennel, she jumps up on her doghouse and barks at the world as it rushes by her.Her ears also change directions with different emotions. These are her ear directions as follows:Perky- ears are straight upSad- go back on the side of her head so it looks like she has no earsNeutral- flop downAt times, she gets into a lot of mischief and is a big pain in the neck. In the long run, though, she is totally worth all the trouble! : )
