Grade: BThe Tick and his trusty sidekick Arthur are at it again, fighting evil in season 2 of “The Tick”. Keeping the citizens of “The City” is not the easiest of jobs. With the strangest and most creative villains yet, the Tick needs the help of all of his many colored friends. From Venus, a wacky villein who hypnotizes men into doing her bidding, to Brainchild, a child who kidnaps the heros, the collection of evil characters will NOT leave you disappointed! The Dolby 2.0 Surround Sound makes it a joy to listen to and the Aspect Ratio 1.33:1 keeps the video format as it was orignaly. My favorite episode is episode 3- “Leonardo Da Vinci and His Fightin’ Genius Time Commandos!”. In this actions packed episode, Mother of Invention creates a time machine and kidnaps famous inventors from the past, bring them into the late 20th century, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, the inventor of the Wheel, and many more other important people. The evil plot? Mother of Invention plans to send a bomb back into history to blow up the inventors. Doing so, he hopes to re-invent their inventions, making him the greatest inventor in history. When Da Vinci escapes from Mother of Inventions, he runs into the Tick and Arthur, informing them of the plot. Coming up with a new “inventive” plan, the Tick and Arthur save the inventors, and possibly the world! I recommend the Tick to any boy or girl over the age of 8 because of some situations. If you like Batman, you will surly love “The Tick vs. Season Two”!
