Story by: Sourachath Dennis RojanaphongResearched by: Sourachath Dennis Rojanaphong Do you knowa guy who’s famous and greatest Mexican artist in Guanajuato, Mexico? If not, he’s Diego Rivera; a famous Mexican artist. Diego Rivera is my autobiography report about the Hispanic Heritage month. He was a very great man as an artist/painter. He was born in the 1880’s, December 8, 1886. His death was a mystery. No one knows how he died. His death was either in November 24 or 25, 1957 at the age of 70. I chose him as my autobiography aboutthe Hispanic Heritagebecause he sounded like a great man and a great famous Mexican artist. In 1886, Diego Rivera was born in Guanajuato, Mexico. He began painting at an early age. Since he was 10, he studied advanced art at the Academy of San Carlos of Mexico City. He then moved to Europe in 1907. He continued he study at Europe. Now he spends most of his life there for 14 years. He continued his study at Paris. Later when he was an adult, he was now an artist/painter. He changed America conception of public art by his artistic skills. He is now the greatest Mexican painter in the 20th century in Mexico City/Mexico. His major work of art paintings were in Ministry of Education Building, Mexico in 1923-1926, California School of fine art in 1930, Detroit Institute of arts in 1933, and Palace of fine art in 1934. So basically he was famous during 1920-1935 probably. He married his first wife, Guadalupe MarĂn, in June 1922, with whom he had two daughters. He was still married until he met a new girl, Frida Kahlo. He then had a divorce with Guadalupe Marin. He married Frida Kahlo at the age of 22. She was 22. Diego Rivera was 44 that time! WOW~! ~! ~! ~ They married on August 21, 1929. Diego was so violently angry. So he got a divorce with Frida Kahlo. He then remarried Frida in December 8, 1940 in San Fransico. After Frida Kahlo death, Rivera then married another woman, Emma Hurtado. 1957- He died in Mexico City at the age of 70 during November 24 or 25. No one knows when he died which day and his how he died. Sources: Wikipedia, Google, and other sources you can find in Google.
