School Lunches.. Are They Trying To Starve Us?

My school is a great school, no lie, but they don’t serve good lunches, or when they do the proportions are very small. The lunches are hazardous to our health. One of my friends found mold on the cheese of her turkey sandwich. We showed the cafeteria worker and he said it was just moister from the bread, but another piece (between the two pieces of turkey) had mold on it too. Another friend peeled the hard, yet soggy bread off of her corndog, and there were green polka dots at the top and bottom of the corndog. The school is great, but the lunches are very bad. Most of the class brings cold lunch. We were aloud to use a microwave, but not any more it takes too much of the aids time of standing next to us chatting away. We don’t even have time to eat. We are supposed two get out at 12:20 we are always getting to the classroom at 12:20 and the walk to the classroom is a5 minute walk. We tell our teacher (the greatest teacher ever) and she will tell the principle… nothing happens. This has happened many times. This bothers me that the school doesn’t care what we eat. We try to take action, but nothing happens. Our school is great, but they are unfair with our lunches. If someone ate that corndog they could’ve been really sick. Does this happen at your school or is it just us?

  1. That’s a problem.
That’s a problem. You should talk to your administrative leaders about this. Our school has a lot of good food, because it’s catered by a resturaunt instead of the school district food. Maybe this can happen to your school, too!

  2. It really is a problem.
It really is a problem. But no kidding! that’s what goes on at our school. My dad packs my lunch except for Wednesdays, because that’s pizza day! Tell the principal yourself about this issue. There will be a better chance of something to happen.
