If you love Christmas movies but are getting sick of watching Rudolph for the seven millionth time, then the movie "Santa Clause 3 the Escape Clause" is for you.

If you love Christmas movies but are getting sick of watching Rudolph for the seven millionth time, then the movie "Santa Clause 3 the Escape Clause" is for you. Santa, also known as Scott (Tim Allen), is on a mission in this new movie and he won't let anything get in his way.

His problems start with Ms. Claus, who will be having a baby soon. When his wife's in-laws come to see her, he has to disguise his workshop as being in Canada because the in-laws think that Santa is a Canadian toymaker.

Another problem is that he has to have an emergency "Legendary Figures" meeting. (The legendary figures include the Tooth Fairy, Father Time, Cupid, etc.) This is because Jack Frost (Martin Short) is trying to get rid of Santa Claus. Jack ruins Santa's studio by breathing his freezing breath on everything destroying the toy making process. Mischievous Jack also finds out the Santa "Clause", a way for the Santa to get out of being Santa. This happens when Mr. Claus says, "I wish I had never been Santa at all," while holding a special snow globe. Jack tricks Scott into doing this and then Jack Frost is the new Santa. Will Scott save the day?

I really liked this movie and I recommend it for a family movie night. It is about an hour and a half long and really hilarious. The movie has puns, mostly having to do with elves. You should really try to find these; they are mostly on signs in the North Pole.

There are many special features and my favorite one is either the blooper reel or the Christmas Carol-oke. Carol-oke is a sing along song with words on the TV. It features many different Christmas songs. The DVD also has an alternate beginning and a music video that Radio Disney fans will enjoy, a duet by Aly and AJ. I would also recommend watching the first two "Santa Clause" movies, even though the plot is pretty easy to follow without watching them.

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was all the time the movie spent on making Jack Frost seem evil. (He is trying to ruin Christmas, need I say more?) Overall, I give this movie four stars out of five and I think you should check this movie out!
