DisneyWorld: Epcot

Epcot, probably the third most visited theme park in the US is another one of the four theme parks in Disneyworld. This gigantic theme is built based on two themes, technology and innovation, and world showcase. The first part of Epcot I visited was the Future World pavilions features many rides and activities that are futuristic. In the iconic ball where Space Earth is located, riders can experience play with some very interesting plans like driving a car that solves all the problems for you and doing surgery using a robot through remote control. The rides here may be a representation of activities we will be able to do in the future. Mission: SPACE allows riders to feels what it would be like to be in a spaceship operating all of its functions. Soarin’, the most popular ride in Epcot features a virtual air gliding tour through California. Innoventions focuses on technological advancements and their practical applications in everyday life. Overall, the Future World allows people of all ages to experience the future and have a blast exploring at the same time.World Showcase is the second theme in Epcot. Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, American, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada are the eleven separate theme in World Showcase. Each country is uniquely different featuring different building, shops, streets, and restaurants. Each country, with different styles and architecture showcases the unique characteristics of the culture. Most countries have a ride or a 360ยบ movie associated with the country. I had a blast at Epcot by viewing what future will be like and experiencing the different cultures and customs of each country. Mission: Space, Test track, Soarin’, and Maelstrom are the rides I enjoyed the most. Though not quite frightening, these are still fantastic rides for kids and adults of all ages.
