Have a craving for something that is delicious, yet not to hard to make, and not too hard on the calories?Well here it is, penne rosa, which is a guarenteed hit at the dinner table. Plus, it will only take 30 minutes, tops. Serves:4-5 Ingredients: 1 package of penne pasta (in reality, you can use any pasta you like) 1 1/3 cup of store bought marinara sauce 2/3 cup of 1% or2% milk 1 tbs breadcrumbs (seasoned or un seasoned) 1/3 cup of grated parmesean cheese 1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce (if you dont use sriracha, use something HOT) a pinch or salt a pinch of pepper preparation: Preheat your oven (or toaster oven, if that pleases you) to 350 degrees. Boil your pennepasta, the preparation of this will vary depeding on the variety that is used, use the directions on the package. In a large bowl, whisk together the marinara, milk, and the hot sauceuntil the mixture turns a salmon-red color, at this point it is okay to add more milk as you please, it will make the sauce lighter, creamier and thinner. Drain the pasta, add it to the marinara mixture. In a 13×9 non sick pan pour in the mixture. Sprinkle the bread crumbs on the top, it gives a light toasted and nuttyflavor. Add the Parmesean on top, make sure that you use parmesean cheese and no other cheese, this might ruin the flavor. Stick your concoction in the oven for10-15 minutes. Finish it of with a drizzle of olive oiland…viola! Once you take your penne rosa out of the oven let it cool for 5 minutes. And dig in!
