Monty Python and the Holy Grail, we know it, we love it, and it is british comedy’s most celebrated films. The movie is a whimsical interpretation of the medieval era, to say the least. It takes place in england, around the time the myhtical “King Arthur” lived. Every second of the movie is quite simply, hysterical! As said by Michael Wilmington of the Chicago Tribune, “PURE COMIC GENIUS”. The movie was made in 1975, and as many of us know, a shaky time in history. As one can tell from this movie, the directors Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones, put a lot of thought into making the film funny and, well, hysterical. It is extremely hard to describe the plot of the movie, every minuite is differs from the next, which is what makes this movie so darn funny. The movie is rated PG, however, ratings from the 70’s are not like movie ratings today, it is not suitable for children under the age of 10. This film has evoked a funnier side in people of all ages all over the world, maybe it will do the same for you.

Good story, my best friend and her brother and I watched this, and I didn’t like it that much, the only part I remember us laughing at it when they were arguing about coconuts… but good story.
