Christine Samson writes, I visited Canada this summer to visit my relatives with my family.

I visited Canada this summer to visit my relatives with my family. During my trip there I visited a lot of places. One of the places I visited was the Olympic Park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was built in 1976 for the Summer Olympic Games. Today, people just come and visit it.The CN Tower, is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I visited the CN Tower which, is the tallest free standing building in the world. It stands 553.33 meters or 1,815.39 feet tall. The CN Tower stands for The Canadian National Tower or Canada’s National Tower. It is also 1 of the Seven Wonders of the World. Some people broke some world records there too. Also in Montreal there is the Botanic Garden. The Botanic Garden contains many beautiful flowers and plants. There are a lot of gardens such as: The Japanese Garden, The Chinese Garden, The First Nations Garden, and The Alpine Garden. The Notre Dame Basilica is in Old Montreal. It has a gothic revival architecture and it was built in 1672. Now, a lot of people come to visit it. Inside there are a lot of beautiful rooms where they celebrate masses!I also visited the St. Joseph Oratory in Montreal. It was built in 1967 and it is the largest church in Canada. A lot of people come to visit it too. It also has a lot of candles that spell words if you look at it from far away! The church is beautiful! In Ottawa, I visited the Parliament of Canada and learned a lot. In there, is the Senate and the House of Commons. They have 308 Commoners and 105 Senators. The Parliament has 3 components: The Sovereign, the Senate, and the House of Commons. Inside the Parliament, I also visited the Clock Tower and saw the clock from below it.I then visited the Niagara Falls which was pretty amazing. It is separated into two parts. One part is on the side of Canada which is called Goat Island: Horseshoe Falls, and the other part was on the American side and it is called the American Falls. There is also the Bridal Veil Falls on the American side. While I was there, I took a ride on the Maid of the Mist boat ride which took us through the Niagara Falls. In the Niagara Falls, there are a lot of stories about it and a few people broke some records there. It was amazing and breathtaking! My family and I took a tour called the Hippo Tour Bus. The Bus took us around Toronto, explaining the sights to see there. It was cool! The Hippo Tour Bus also went into the water! So, there you have it. That is my story of my trip to Canada about the places that I visited, along with some facts about each place. Canada is a great place to visit. You should go there sometime!
