Fly Me to the Moon is a movie about three flies, Nat – the leader, IQ – the smart one, and Scooter – the big one, who stow away on a rocket to the moon. They save the rocket and are able to be the first flies on the moon. The Russian flies want to be the first flies on the moon too. They make it hard for Nat, IQ and Scooter to get home so they can claim they are the first flies on the moon. Will the American flies win and get home safely?Fly Me to the Moon is in 3-D! It makes you feel like you are really a fly – – like you are really there. The 3-D gave the movie the special effect it needed to make it really exciting. In one scene, when the rocket launched off it looked like the rocket was coming straight at you. Although the 3-D gave my dad a headache, it was worth it.

The movie is great! However, in my opinion, the movie is for younger kids. The humor isn't geared towards my age group. I have to admit though, at times Scooter was pretty funny. I really liked the houses. It was cool how the flies used small little trinkets to make their cute houses.

After the movie I asked a couple of kids what they thought about it. Jalen said he liked the movie. His favorite part was the rocket launch. Jennifer said her favorite part was in the beginning when the money was laughing when he didn't know the rocket he was in was about to launch.

David Gore, who has guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place, is the voice of Scooter. The voice of Grandpa is provided by Christopher Lloyd, who has been in many other movies and TV shows, and will soon be in the animated feature The Tale of Desperaux. Philip Bolden is the voice of IQ. He has been in Are We There Yet?, How To Eat Fried Worms, and a few other movies. Buzz Aldren, space astronaut, has a part too.
