Hello Fall

Jordan Adolph writes, I woke up on an average Saturday morning.

I woke up on an average Saturday morning. Sun piercing the sky, with green and yellow trees casting shadows on the black gravel road. People wearing colorful clothing walking their beloved dogs, and an occasional bunny nibbling on green yummy grass. The tall trees are finally showing their personalities, wearing a copper and gold color. An occasional car on Holly Street, and a quick hush whisper of families down the road, are the only sounds that could be heard at 8:18 in the morning. Then, a high pitched tone pierced the air, and I knew it was a flock of blue-green birds. Then again, silence was heard everywhere, for sure. And all of the sudden I heard someone bellow “Hello Fall!” ~
