A few weeks ago my Moms friend moved to Florida and could not take her cat with her. We deceided to adopt her. She is a gray striped tabby named Tater. (After the worlds famous tater tots) As a couple weeks passed, we noticed the cat was getting fatter. Much to our surprise, she was pregnant. On April 26th, 2009, Tater had four babies. We were all so happy there was no complications and she knew just what to do. It is so amazing that this cat knows exactely how to be a great mommy. She is so happy to share the kittens with all of us. The hardest part is coming up with names. We named the kitten that looked like her mom, Mater, and are still thinking of the names for the other ones. The kittens are three days old and already trying to climb out of there box. I can’t wait till they get older and can play more. The saddest part of this all will be giving the babies away. But I will enjoy every minute with them. Enjoy your mothers and cherish every moment with them. Even if it’s not Mothers Day. P.S. If you can come up with any names, please let me know.
