A Christmas Carol Thrills, Teaches and Transforms

Bailey Cross writes, Grade: B+Ebenezer Scrooge is one of the greediest men on the planet.

Grade: B+Ebenezer Scrooge is one of the greediest men on the planet. He cares about no one but himself and will not hesitate to pass up those in need in order to save ever penny he can. His cold heart rules his life. After the death of his close friend and colleague, Jacob Marley, Scrooge finds himself all alone. For years he has despised anything that brings others the slightest amount of joy, especially Christmas, but this holiday season the original “ba-hum-bug” is about to learn an important lesson. On Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge plans to go home and bear another cold night alone. He finds his plans drastically changed when upon arrival at his grand house he is visited by the ghost of Marley. He is warned that he will be guided throughout the night to come by three ghosts; the Ghost of Christmas’s Past, the Ghost of Christmas’s Present, and the Ghost of Christmas’s Future. Each of them show Ebenezer life changing moments from his life and the lives of people around him, teaching him, and your family, an important lesson each time. Although “A Christmas Carol” is rated PG, it has a great potential to scare kids under the age of 10. “A Christmas Carol” is now playing in theaters near you in IMAX 3-D and on the regular screen. If your going to see it this holiday season, IMAX 3-D is a must. For more information, visit http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/achristmascarol/.
