Are you looking for a fun summer trip that's not too expensive and not too far? Then I suggest you visit Breckenridge, Colorado. Breckenridge has many things to do for such a small town. You can swim, hike, shop, and a ton of other fun activities. Two activities I like are the Peak 8 Fun Park and the Breckenridge Stables.

You get to the Peak 8 Fun Park by taking the free Gondola ride to the top. You can do individual activities or you can get the whole bundle by buying the day pass. They have a 2 level maze where you have to find the letters M-A-Z-E in 8 minutes to win a prize. It was pretty entertaining because we kept ending up in dead ends that we'd been in twenty times before! It took us 2 times to win the prizes.

After the mazes we went on the Alpine Slide and boy was it fun. We went on a snail slow ski lift to the top and then we grabbed a sled and got in line. It was a lot of fun zooming down the mountain with my hair whipping behind me (even though my mom said I was a slow poke). We did it 10 times and it never got old.

The bungee trampoline was really cool. A bungee trampoline is where you put on a harness which is connected to bungee cords and you're on a trampoline. The bungee cords send you shooting up into the sky and then you land on the trampoline and it bounces you right back up again. You can do flips, but if you're too scared you don't have to.

The rock climbing wall was kind of scary, but very cool. There are 3 parts to climb on the wall, hard, medium and easy. You are attached to a belay so you can't fall and hurt yourself. The Peak 8 Fun Park also has mining for gems, putt putt golf, and hiking.

Breckenridge Stables is a really good place to have a nice, relaxing horse ride. Even though the trails were muddy, the views were to die for. The horses were calm and most of them were very well behaved. The trails rides are 90 minutes and anybody can ride. The youngest person I saw was about 2 years old and rode with his mother.I

had such a fun time and Breckenridge that I can't wait to go again. I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun at Breckenridge, too.
