This weekend, I saw the movie, "Alpha and Omega" in 3D. This movie starts in Canada's Jasper National Park, where Kate (Hayden Panettiere) and Humphrey. (Justin Long) are two wolves from the same pack. Kate is an alpha and is very serious about her work. Humphrey is an omega wolf, the lowest of the pack, and loves to goof around and tell jokes. One of Humphrey and his friends' favorite games is sliding down a mountain in the trunk of a tree.

Kate's parents have arranged for her to marry Garth, another alpha. Humphrey happens to be in love with Kate. Humphrey is very funny and asks, "Where's Barf?" "It's Garth!" answered Kate. Kate and Humphrey then get taken away to Yellowstone National Park to repopulate their species. As they escape back home, they encounter different dangers, try different foods and meet new friends. Some of the things Humphrey does for fun end up helping them escape.

The 3D has some pretty good effects but it isn't necessary to see the movie in 3D. It is good for younger children because it has some goofy humor but also has some humor related to golfing that my dad would enjoy.

An interesting fact is that wolves from Alberta, Canada were really used to repopulate Yellowstone National Park. I really liked l this movie because it is funny, but also has action. Alpha and Omega is for all ages, boys and girls. It has a few scary scenes, but overall, is very enjoyable. Out of five wolves, I give Alpha and Omega four wolves.
