"The Guinness Book of World Records 2011" is exploding with thousands of new records!

"The Guinness Book of World Records 2011" is exploding with thousands of new records! With features like new categories, photos, and tons of other amazing things to look at you'll have your nose in this book for hours.

Sadly, Pingping (the worlds shortest man) passed away, and he was replaced with someone new: Edward Niño Hernandez who stands just 2 feet 3 inches off the ground! Is your hair longer than 18 ft. 5.54 in.? If it is, then you have the longest hair in the world! These are some of the records that stood out most to me.

Do you want be a record holder? If so, you should follow these steps. First, think of a record or look at one in the Guinness Book of World Records (GWR). Now, visit www.guinnesworldrecords.com and go to the apply now segment and tell GWR about your record. Give GWR a lot of time, like 6 months notice. If your record is all ready existing, GWR will send you guide lines, and the same applies for new records.

Next, PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! Then, invite two witnesses to watch you do your record. After that, mail in some evidence showing you doing your record. GWR will notify you if you have a world record, and maybe you'll end up in an issue of GWR. This would be great.

This book is stupendous and I think kids of most ages will enjoy this book. Complete with color photos and incredible records this book has it all!
