Halloween is steadily approaching and what’s the best way to get in the mood for a spooky and candy filled night? The Molly Brown House Museum offers a way with their Victorian Horrors show. In small tour groups, you will make your way through the historical house listening to classic horror stories performed right in front of you by various local actors. The works of great authors like Edgar Allen Poe and HG Wells are brought to life by candlelight. Each room you visit while on your tour has beautiful furniture that fits to the time period, giving everything a more authentic feel. The actors are dressed in old-fashioned clothing and read their horror stories from small leather notebooks. Each actor is incredibly passionate and talented, and keeps the audience engaged. The shows are Friday, October 15th and 22nd and Saturday, October 16th and 23rd at the Molly Brown House Museum and run for about 40 minutes. Some readings may be too intense for small children. Tickets are $15 for members and $18 for non-members. Visit mollybrown.org for more details.
